Gazpacho
It's summer in Spain.
And I hereby announce that gazpacho is absolutely, without any doubt, the perfect food.
A salad in a glass, crusty bread and Spanish olive oil included. What could be better?
Does somebody really want to take me on about this?
I'm in ecstasy, and it's only gazpacho in summer heat.

If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times, dear w-w, I am highly underqualified for that particular toy.
I did try to borrow a picture of gazpacho by someone else of the Web when I first posted this, but...nothing did justice to the gorgous glass of red by my side.
What say we trade photography knowledge for a perfect batch of gazpacho? Hmm?

The best gazpacho is in Andalucia!

Hey, castellana, what are you saying?? And is it the gazpacho, or that is so hot it tastes like heaven?
Well, ok, maybe but I make gazpacho from the recipe of a sevillana (Isa)...
and yesterday even the stuff from the supermarket tasted fabulous.
It's just the perfect food. It just is.

Well it isn't the perfect food for me as I can't eat raw tomatoes/juice and am not even all that fond of cooked ones (deadly nightshade family, doncha know?!)

OK qaminante, you've got me. So what's your perfect food?
I live on tomatoes in Spain, year round really..you've made me appreciate that I can spend so mnay happy meal hours with such pleasant members of the deadly nightshade family (pleasant for me, that is..)
