A snowy Jueves Santo

It's snowing in Salamanca.

April 4. Easter week. Snowing.

And they wonder how a Chicagoan could feel so at home in Castile-León.

I made it out for a walk before the flurries started. Salamanca changes color with the weather, and today's sunny morning turned snowy noon left her reds blood red and her golds deep and damp.

A short April stroll through Salamanca:

  • Oh yum!

Lol, did the Salamancans blame you for the snow ... I seem to recall you doing a happy spring dance a little early?

  • Oh, I did a spring snow dance. You will not meet a woman happier to see snow than me..born in a blizzard, I was and it hooked me for life.

Besides, I remember all those spring ski trips back in my skiing days. This was light fluffy flurrying stuff -- it was gone by afternoon.

Doesn't mean anything about the arrival of spring ;)

  • Snow? Yuck, I am sick of it. Granted I love it in November and December and sometimes even January. You can take it after that. Nice images. I especially like the foto de dos gatos.
