a week in New England

Rockport, Massachusetts. The red fishing shack (called Motif 1) is said to be one of New England's most photographed subjects. The original shack collapsed in the Blizzard of 1978, a snowstorm I remember fondly (for giving me at least one full week out of school). Motif 1 was recreated and repainted later that year.

w-w, New England is a lovely place, when you get out of the cities and burbs...
Cream, glad you liked the tune. I trust you to have sung along, loudly!! Congrats on the Spanish!

I found the Blizzard of 78 pictures when I was at my mom's house, Nomadita. My friend Jean and I shovelled, the took pictures of ourselves standing next to the snow cliffs along the driveway. Sigh, I do miss snow days.
